Welcome to March ...

So many amazing layouts for February - just fabulous ladies, thank you !!

This month we are going a little green and delving into the far reaches of our vegie gardens for some CRISPY LETTUCE.

We hope you like our inclusion of a mood board to help inspire you ... we'd love to see some element or idea from here on your page.

and some totally amazing inspiration from our wonderful team ...
(in no particular order)

I was totally inspired by the green monarch hopefully for me, because I do not use much green.

Caroline Elliam (Canada)
To make my green background, I used shabby shutters distress ink over a stencil first. Then I came over it with just a tiny spray of water and Lucious lime spray from Lindy's to have that watercolor effect. I had the perfect picture for the moodboard as my son is in the "Frog" group at school! Butterflies are always a beautiful addition to a layout.

Natsuko Suzuki (Japan)
I took inspiration from the frog. It reminded me of this silly picture of my daughter dressed as a frog! I used several shades of green, and black to spice up the layout.

Lisa Johnston (Australia)
The moodboard really made me think of the outdoors so I chose these pics of my little guy in December back when we had gorgeous green grass. It's all dried up and crispy now sadly.

Tanya Heritage (Australia)
I loved this colour/mood board. Green always looks nice on a layout with white. Green always reminds me of the lush green outdoors so I scrapped this photo of us enjoying a glass of wine and the gorgeous scenery of the winery we were at in New Zealand.

Louise Turner (Australia)
The lettuce is so textured - I used it as my inspiration for adding lots of textural elements (cotton, paper straws, wood veneer).

Jessica Toulmin (New Zealand)
I really struggled with this colour, but after thinking about it for a few days I got started and this is the end result. What drew my attention the most with the mood board was the black lines on the green butterfly - I knew I wanted to add some black detailing on my layout and I did that in the form of black edging on my patterned papers.

Melinda France (Australia)
I was inspired by the frilly lettuce on the mood board, so I went for lots of doilies and floral shapes. The cut file is from Paige Taylor Evans in the silhouette store.

Lisa Marie Watling (South Africa)

Michelle Van Oudtshoorn (New Zealand)
